Refund Policy

Our refund policy is as follows:

  • If you cancel within the first 48 hours and your stay is over two weeks away, you’ll receive a 90% refund after a 10% cancellation fee.
  • Up until 14 days before you visit, as a courtesy we offer a 50% refund upon written notice of cancellation of your stay.
  • Within 14 days of your stay, we do not offer any refund of your booking.

As a boutique retreat center and nonprofit, we unfortunately cannot offer refunds within fourteen (14) days of your stay.

Submitting Cancellation for a Refund

Once we receive written notice of your cancellation, if it is sent to us greater than 14 days from your stay, we will review the request and your method of payment, and return the corresponding percentage of funds to you as soon as possible. Please ensure you receive a written reply from us confirming your cancellation so that you can be sure you properly delivered the email.

Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at booking@hawaiiansanctuary.com.

Reservation Adjustment Policty

If you wish to adjust your reservation or change your dates, or change to a different accommodation type, please send us a written inquiry or contact us and we will review your situation, our calendar of bookings, and determine what we are able to offer you: booking@hawaiiansanctuary.com. We reserve the right to only offer the cancellation policy listed above, but will do our best to accommodate you when possible.

No Show Policty

If you do not show up for your stay, you are still liable for payment in full and will not receive any refund or adjustment to your reservation cost.
