Zumba Dance Fitness with Candace Wharton

“Zumba is a dance fitness program created by Colombian dancer and choreographer Alberto “Beto” Perez. Zumba involves dance and aerobic movements performed to energetic music. The choreography incorporates hip-hop, soca, samba, salsa, merengue and mambo. Approximately 15 million people take weekly Zumba classes in over 200,000 locations across 180 countries.”
Aloha! Iʻve been dancing with Zumba for many years and received my certification to teach in 2016. I love Zumba because thereʻs something for everyone. As a full time college student, mother of three, and an active community member Zumba is my get away. I love the energy, support of the others in class and THE MUSIC! Its all feels so good, the kind of stuff that even if youʻre not feeling it at first you wonʻt be able to stop yourself from busting a move. Come join us!
