Weekly Bee Dance Party with DJ Shakti & Esdhlacoda
December 8, 2017 @ 7:00 pm - 11:00 pm$10
We are buzzing with excitement to present the newest phase of our Friday night dance medicine — BEE DANCE!
Our intention is to bring together our community in unity-hive consciousness by honoring and learning from the Bees. Each dance benefits the Gentle Hive Bee Foundation.
The evening begins with a Bee ceremony co-facilitated by Shane the Bee Charmer, Emily Kaye and Amberay. The honey elixir this week is infused with Blue Lotus. Our ceremony leads straight into our dance journey, guided by a different DJ each week.
The dancing is just one of the many dimensions to explore each Friday night. Bee Dance regularly features VJ esdhlacoda and a special projection mapped lightshow to enhance the experience. Sit and sip tea at our cozy tea bar. Relax and get buffed in our comfy squish zone. Let local fire dancers mesmerize you under the night’s spell of stars. BEE DANCE is infinite!
This talented Kona DJ has headlined some of Big Island’s biggest events — HEMF, Petting Zoo, EarthDance, Bayview Sunsets — just to name a few from the impressive list! And she has been regularly featured for years at hot spots like Amethyst Nightclub, MyBar, Hilo Town Tavern, and Garden Temple.
She’s the diva of booty slappin’ bass, fluid in all styles, and always keeping it fresh with high energy music. Shakti pours pure love and soul onto the dance floor, flowing through deep and rhythmic spirals that connects hearts and lifts spirits. Get ready to explore a real dance odyssey!
Hope to see you this Friday!
