About the Class and Teacher:

Aloha my name is U’ilani Pihana. I am a Hawaiian Cultural Practitioner and have 25 years experience in hula practice. I am honored today to work with Keiki ( children ) and assist them in learning the different dances of Hawaii. I also teach simple Hawaiian language giving the children a better understanding of the songs and chants they learn.

We do different craft workshops to teach lei making, pa’u la’i ( ti leaf skirt) making and I cover different history of the dances and songs we learn.

Beginner classes are held Monday at 4 pm until 5 pm and classes are $25 monthly or $10 for the day.  Ages range from 2 and up. I am passionate about what I teach and practice with aloha.

Mahalo for more information feel free to contact me at 808-464-8758.
