Connie Cappos has been studying and practicing yoga for 20 years, and in 2009 was called upon to share her practice with others as a teacher.

In her classes she combines a practice of Hatha yoga, Pranayamas (Breathwork), Kriyas (cleansing), Qi Gong (energy healing), and Yoga Therapy.

After years on staff at Yoga Oasis retreat center, she started the community yoga program in Pahoa at the Kupukupu Center for Arts and Healing which made yoga available to everyone regardless of skill level or ability to pay. Kupukupu lost its space due to the lava flow that effected Pahoa and partnered with Hawaiian Sanctuary where the program continues.

Her multi-level classes encourage personal exploration and acceptance in a fun and safe environment.

Buddhi Mana @ Hawaiian sanctuary
Jun 1 @ 10:30 am – 12:00 pm

The Buddhi flow integrates perception altering practices with unique movements that enliven the body’s energy system and awaken consciousness. It facilitates a means to realign the physical and energetic systems of the body through its natural spiral based architecture.

This alignment is established through harmonic resonance driven by performing these movements. These movements generate an internal energetic coiling that opens the central channels which in turn strengthen the toroidal photonics field around the body. Once the sufficient energy has been activated it proliferates to bring the whole bio-field into flow and unravel physical mental and emotional blockages.

Beyond a physical work out, It has become a sanctuary for the community to come together. As Buddhi evolved throughout the years, the moves morph, the intentions shift and there’s always that greater unknown element that was driving the whole field in the first place. As we venture into the more energetic aspects of ourselves we tap into the power of nature that is within and all around us. When we learn the language of nature our horizons begin to expand again. Created by Jen Liming on the Big Island, Buddhi has morphed into Buddhi Mana as an expression of this discovery. Rediscover your inner child and become ageless and full of unlimited energy. Buddhi mana encourages each individual to find their own inner light and from there we change the vibration one Buddhi at a time. Yoga is a discipline bringing one to their fullest potential! The evolutionary practice of Buddhi takes it to another level as an organic synergy created in a group setting that is literally out of this world!

Maria Steele has been exploring yoga, asana, and yogic kriyas for 20 years. She has studied, practiced and taught Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Kundalini, and Buddhi. Bringing these styles of yoga together, Maria’s personal style guides her to discover finer levels of vitality, subtle body awareness, ecstatic bliss, stillness, and profound release. Maria’s primary focus has been on practicing and teaching Buddhi for the last 5 years. She has discovered through her practice that Buddhi can be a synergistic mirror to the organic ebb and flow of one’s life and continuously creates space for healing.

As a teacher Maria feels that the practice of Buddhi is naturally adaptable to one’s own creative expression and life force, empowering others to tap into this potency and naturally this expression is shared. Maria focuses on fusing the transformational power of the outer physical practice and the intrinsic subtleties of the inner practice. Buddhi is a powerful method that directly and immediately allows you to experience all the levels of your being while giving you the energy and confidence to constantly expand. Maria’s teaching style combines electronic music, multiple elements of yoga, asana, dynamic flow, sequencing, pranayama creative hip movements, Kundalini, kriyas, cardio, and Tribal Bellydance. Buddhi asks us to bridge the relationship with the practice and fluctuations of life in ways that are harmonious, rhythmic, invigorating, and fun!

Buddhi Mana @ Hawaiian sanctuary
Jun 29 @ 10:30 am – 12:00 pm

Buddhi asks us to bridge the relationship with the practice and fluctuations of life in ways that are harmonious, rhythmic, invigorating, and fun!

connie yoga

Jul 27 @ 10:30 am – 12:00 pm

Aug 24 @ 10:30 am – 12:00 pm
